When Jet Cavoodle moved to Fiji we wondered how many other dogs he'd meet and be able to hang out with. Many of the dogs in Fiji are not suitable to make friends with, sad, but that's the reality. One of the main expat suburbs doesn't allow dogs so doggie friends are limited.
The past few days away was all about having some much needed time off and trialling Jet Cavoodle on our boat for his first overnight trip to an location in the Fiji islands. We decided not to sleep on the boat though it would take us two hours to get to our destination - the longest time Jet's ever been on a boat.
As most of you know by now, we recently moved to Fiji and during the past year have spent countless hours getting our belongings from various corners of the globe organised so we find once again have all our 'stuff' in one location. In just a few weeks time the final piece of the puzzle will come together in the form of a shipping container from Australia.
Jet Cavoodle has been taken in our boat ever since he was little, not very often but enough to be ok with the idea. We've had a number of different boats over the years, the latest is perfect for life in Fiji. I always wanted to take him in the boat so we could find a secluded location for a swim in the beautiful aqua water without the concern of local dogs spoiling the fun.
